SCG International Explores Egypt Trade with Thai Delegation

SCG International joined a Thai business delegation to Cairo in February 2026 under the Thailand–Egypt Economic Cooperation Promotion Program led by the Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

During the visit, the delegation attended the Egypt–Thailand Business Forum and business matching sessions with Egyptian government agencies and private sector partners.

Mr. Teerayoot Sooksood, Saudi Arabia Office Manager of SCG International, noted that Egypt presents strong growth potential and could serve as a strategic gateway for expanding trade and investment into Africa.

SCG International currently operates its office in Saudi Arabia, established in 2023 as the first Thai company to set up a legal entity in the country. The office oversees key business segments including Paper & Packaging, Food & Beverage, and Building Materials, while continuing to expand its market coverage to Egypt.

Participation in this Thai business delegation reflects SCG International’s commitment to exploring new opportunities and building strategic partnerships in high-potential markets to support long-term business expansion in Africa.
