SCG Inter and BigBloc Start JV Plant in India Under Zmartbuild by NXTBLOC
SIAM Cement BigBloc Construction Technologies Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between Gujarat based BigBloc Construction Ltd and Thailand’s SCG International Corporation Co., Ltd., (SCG International) has launched its India operations with the commercial production of its first plant in Kheda, Gujarat. With the vision of launching next-generation walling solution for the Indian market, the joint ventures has invested around Rs. 65 crore in setting up a 300,000 cubic meter per annum capacity project including India’s first AAC Wall Plant at Kheda district near Ahmedabad (Gujarat). The AAC Wall will be marketed under the brand name ‘ZMARTBUILD WALL by NXTBLOC’. The joint venture company will also manufacture AAC Blocks.

On April 18-19, 2024, SCG International and SCG Cement-Building Materials, led by Mr. Wachirachai Koonamwattana (Head of Smart System Solution Business) and Dr. Pornput Jarumongkonsak (Managing Director – Business Expansion and Development ,SCG Smart Building Solution) sponsored and introduced the SCG Air Scrubber at the AIVC-ACS event “Ventilation, IEQ & Sustainability.” In this event, professionals from the air and ventilation systems industry worldwide participated, including our target groups such as contractors, consultants, and building owners. Especially, we were honored to have Mr. Brandon Harwick, President of Engenium Group, Washington DC, USA, as a main speaker at the event.
Low-Carbon Ready Mix Concrete Partnership for Sustainable Construction in Bangladesh
