SCG Wins 5 TMA Awards 2024 for Leadership and Sustainable Growth

SCG receiving recognition for excellence in leadership, green innovation, and organizational agility at TMA 2024

SCG received 5 awards at the TMA Excellence Awards 2024, including three Thailand Corporate Excellence Awards 2024 presented by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. These awards were for Leadership Excellence, Sustainable Development Excellence, and Human Resource Management Excellence (for the 22nd consecutive year). Additionally, SCG won the Thailand Digital Excellence Award in End-to-End Digital Transformation and a Silver Award in Manufacturing at the SMEs Excellence Awards. Mr. Chirayu Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, Privy Councillor, presided over the award ceremony.

Mr. Paramate Nisagornsen Vice President-Corporate Administration, SCG, said, “These prestigious royal awards reflect the trust and confidence from top executives nationwide and the expert committee. They recognize SCG’s commitment to developing new innovative products and services focusing on green innovation, implementing agile organization management to enhance global market competitiveness, addressing challenges like economic volatility and climate change, and seeking new opportunities. We also focus on becoming an Organization of Possibilities with equal opportunities for all, applying efficient technologies for new business opportunities, and continuously improving management efficiency to meet customer needs and overcome current global challenges.”

The Thailand Corporate Excellence Awards 2024, jointly organized by Thailand Management Association (TMA) and Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University, recognizes organizations with excellence in various management aspects. The selection process involves surveying opinions from top executives nationwide and expert committee evaluation of organizational management approaches and operational results.

The Thailand Digital Excellence Award in End-to-End Digital Transformation, jointly presented by TMA and the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), aims to enhance digital management capabilities of Thai organizations. The assessment uses Boston Consulting Group’s Digital Acceleration Index (DAI) to measure organizational digital management capabilities.

Additionally, SCG and Sahapaisarn Industry Co., Ltd., a chemical products manufacturer, received the SMEs Excellence Awards Silver Award in Manufacturing Excellence. This award recognizes medium and small-sized organizations in manufacturing, services, or retail/wholesale sectors based on organizational qualifications and management approaches.

SCG continues to operate under the Inclusive Green Growth approach, focusing on collaboration across sectors to drive a low-carbon society and achieve Net Zero by 2050. The company grows sustainably through four main engines: Agile Organization, Green Innovations, Organization of Possibilities, and Inclusive Society.
