SCG International hosted EV EXPO 2022, an exhibition showcasing all types of electric vehicles in collaboration with partnerships to drive Green Logistics
SCG International Corporation Limited, in Cement and Building Materials Business, organized an EV EXPO 2022 on June 6-7, 2022, under the leadership of Mr. Abhijit Datta, Managing Director. The exhibition featured a wide range of electric vehicles as well as a discussion about “Convertible EV Pick Up” and “Heavy Duty Retrofitting”. The talk session was presided over and attended by Mrs. Panadda Rungruengsri, Deputy Governor of Thailand’s Industrial Estate Authority (Sustainable Development) and Mr. Apichart Sektheera, Director Office of Amata City Rayong Industrial Estate. This event was organized in collaboration with strong partnerships from both the public and private sectors. Both parties will jointly promote the use of electric vehicles in Thailand through knowledge sharing and real-experience, entrepreneurs will gain confidence in the use of all types of electric vehicles. In the event, various types and brands of electric vehicles were showcased, such as forklifts, passenger cars, pickup trucks, buses and trucks. As well as, IoT innovations that are applied to electric forklifts to increase work efficiency.
In addition, two electric air-conditioned buses (EV bus) were delivered to SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited, one of the leaders who pushed for a change to promote clean energy usage at the national level. This push for a change began within SCG group, with Mr. Mongkol Hengrojanasopon, Vice President – Olefins Business and operation, Chemicals Business presided over the award. The purpose is to serve the employees of SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited and companies in SCG Chemicals Business.
